Welcome Diesol Crate!

Diesol Crate Fuller is here! He was born on Tuesday, October 19th at 5:05 p.m. He weighed a whopping 9 lbs 9 oz and was 22 inches long. He came out with a bruised little face. Poor guy, what a trip! He wasn't turned quite right and I'm guessing his face was doing a number on my pelvic bone during the contractions.

The doctor didn't want him to get too big and was ready to induce a week earlier, but we decided to wait to see if this little guy would make his appearance on his own. I guess he needed a little gentle push! At our doctor appointment on Monday afternoon we decided it was time. I didn't want to go past my due date, which was the 19th. We scheduled the appointment for the induction and they scheduled it for the very next morning. Everything went super smooth, which we were especially grateful for. (Except for his poor bruised face.)

We are doing well and are home from the hospital. We are enjoying the adjustment to a new little one. Titon is very interested in his brother and is doing great too! I know Diesol is excited to meet his big sister Ariana this weekend.

Titon's Photo shoot

I’ve been trying to get a good one year picture of our little man. So far, I haven’t been too successful in getting one that I really love. He is full of energy and doesn't like to sit still and I'm very pregnant right now, but here are a few I’ve taken. He’s growing up so fast!

Momma’s little helper

Titon is always trying to help me clean up. When I unload or load the dishwasher, he is always right there to help pull things out and he always takes his sock off or uses a napkin and will try to mop the floor with them or dust something. The other day after I got done sweeping the kitchen, he pulled out the broom and was pushing it back and forth trying to sweep like his momma. So cute! I hope his helping attitude continues.

Another one of Titon’s quiet moments:

Eating crayons…. I’m not sure how he figured out how to get the zip lock bag open, but he sure did and enjoyed every moment munching on that crayon.

Annual trip to Lattin's

It’s October, which means it was time to go for our annual trip to the Apple Festival at Lattin’s Cider Mill Farm. We decided to do it a few weeks earlier than we usually go so we didn't miss it due to the baby coming. It rained on us the whole time, but we didn’t mind. The crowd was less than usual, which meant apple fritters were moments away instead of hours this year.

We had several of Brian’s family members go with us. Sarah and Dan’s family, Tina and Mike’s family, Randy and Tasha’s family, and Aunt Shawna and Uncle Blake all came. It was a lot of fun!

No more playing with phones…..

So Titon loves phones. He loves our house phone and our cell phones. He wants to talk anytime we are on it. Sometimes we have let him play with them, which mean he has phoned a few people on accident. If you are one of the lucky ones to have heard heavy breathing and it came from our number, it was most likely Titon.

Well tonight was the big one. We were trying to watch General Conference and he was being entertained by my cell phone. Every once in a while I would clear out what he was punching in. When I looked one time I saw Emergency something or other on the phone and the number 911. I immediately cancelled it, but of course a few minutes later I received a call from the 911 dispatch service. Not good!

It took me saying multiple times that I was okay and that I could speak freely and at my will and was not under any duress. Everything was okay. I tried to explain that my one year old had gotten a hold of my phone and apologized several times. I had to state my name and address and again confirm I was okay….. Needless to say, playing with the phone is definitely not going to happen anymore….

Taking advantage of the sunshine

We have been loving nice weather and sunshine for a few days and finally took advantage of it last night. We had a picnic at Capitol Lake Park once Brian got home from work. So fun!

Titon recently decided he likes to share his food and tries to feed us. He was loving feeding daddy french fries.

He's not walking yet, but is getting close. Instead he's a champion balancer and loves to stand on his own.
