Mother's Day in Utah

Brian was great to let me and the two boys go to Utah for a couple of weeks. We flew into Vegas and my sister Heidi picked us up. We were able to visit with my brother Cory, Chanda and their family before heading to St. George. We had so much fun playing in the 90 degree weather, going swimming and roasting hotdogs and marshmallows with my sister Hollie’s family and just enjoying the hot Dixie sun. I was so ready for it!

I spent the rest of my time in Salt Lake. We had a great time seeing family in Northern Utah and my mom was awesome coming up for the whole time we were there to be with us.
For Mother’s Day, I was able to be with my mom and sisters and able to attend my nephew Christopher’s farewell. The kids were tired, so it wasn’t much fun to be a mom on mother’s day, but we survived without dad.
We were also able to go to my niece Jaycee and nephew Jaden’s state baseball games before we left, which was awesome and so fun to see them play. Both did really well.

The not so fun parts of the trip were the flights over and back. Titon screamed the whole way both times. Everyone around me was drinking and I didn’t blame them. He just didn’t want to be in his seat and everything I tried to entertain him with didn’t work. I felt bad for the poor ladies in front of us as Titon thought it was funny to kick their seat repeatedly. Titon also had his elbow pop out of place three times, which is very painful for him and it would take over 24 hours for them to pop back in. My kids ended up getting colds while we were out there and Titon threw up twice. Once in his crib and once in the grandma’s car. Other than that the trip was great! Here's a few pictures from our adventures.

While in Utah, we were able to go to the aquarium in Sandy with my sister Heidi’s family. We had a lot of fun looking at all the different fish and sea creatures when Titon was behaving.

Titon having some fun in the bathtub with his cousins Eva and Anna.

I was able to meet up with my sister-in-laws and cousins for a fun afternoon lunch. It was so much fun to visit with them all and let the kids play.

My sister Jacquelyn and her family are always so great and willing to let us stay at their home whenever we visit Utah. We were so happy to be there and see Christopher give his farewell talk before he left for Peru. We love you guys!

While in Utah, I was able to go see my good friend Kym and meet her new little guy Eli. What a precious baby! So happy for you Kym.

Easter

Easter weekend was great weekend. We went to Carol and Willy’s for a BBQ and for Easter egg hunts for the kids and one for the adults. We played lots of games and enjoyed good food. We had Ariana that weekend and the kids all loved what the Easter Bunny brought. We enjoyed a great church meeting focused on our Savior and had a yummy Easter dinner at our friends the Newbills.

Easter activities at the Fuller’s house.

Titon’s Christmas is still giving….

With Titon’s Christmas being a little overboard, we just pulled this out recently for the first time. He loves it! It’s been a lot of fun, even though it takes up our whole room. Lucky for us, we can put it up in sections.

Big Snowfall

We had our first big snowfall at our house on March 21st. It was the biggest one in several years. It was the kind that doesn’t melt in just a few short hours because of the rain. I know it’s nothing compared to the storms back home, but for this area it is a traffic stopper and I loved every minute of it! We were able to get Titon out to play in it for a few minutes. He didn’t know what to think at first, but ended up having a lot of fun even in his rain boots.

The boys

Here’s a couple of cute pictures of my boys.

Tricks and Diesol

Brian loves to do tricks with Diesol. Most involve balancing, lifting, etc. The other day he wanted me to see Diesol’s new trick. Take a look below, I can assure you, I didn’t like it very much, even with Diesol’s excellent grip….

Diesol's jumper

Diesol loves his jumper and jumps in it several times a day. On a few occasions, I looked back, he’s going crazy jumping, and then a few minutes later, I look back again and this is how I find him…… Poor kid, has so much fun and then crashes.
