So two weeks ago we had Ariana with us and we decided it was time to do something festive, so we decorated a haunted gingerbread house on Saturday morning. My fingers were dyed black for a couple of days after that. Saturday afternoon we went to the Applefest & Pumpkin Patch at Lattin’s Country Cider Mill and Farm here in Olympia. It was a lot of fun. Ari was able to pick out her pumpkin, we had fun using a sling-shot to try to fling an apple to hit a sign for $25.00. One guy in front of us hit a cow in the pasture. I thought that was worth the $25.00; it was pretty funny.
We were able to visit all the farm animals and feed the goats. (They licked our hands, yuck!) Luckily, they had a hand washing station with lots of soap.
We tried to get some yummy apple crisp, but they were all out, so we settled on their famous apple fritters. Not a bad trade off.
