Largest trees

They have identified very large trees in the Olympic National park, so we started finding them and taking our pictures by them. I think we got the largest Cedar tree and the largest Spruce tree. I liked standing by it, because compared to the tree, I didn’t feel so huge!

Brian decided when we passed Lake Quinalt on the way home; he would like to drive around the whole lake. Little did he realize that the road was 18 miles to get to the other side and ½ of it was a windy little dirt road with signs posted that motor homes and buses should not use that road. What was supposed to be a quick jaunt around the lake turned into about 1 hour and ½ out of our way. However, I do have to say that we saw some incredible falls on that little dirt road. Too bad it’s a little too far for the family reunion.
