My water broke around 3 A.M. Early Friday morning, so Brian headed off to work to get a few things done and I decided it was a good time to pack a bag for the hospital. We bided our time and went in around 12:30 the next afternoon. I think I was so worried hearing horror stories, I was bound and determined to be mentally ready for whatever happened, but I have to say and I think Brian completely agrees that it was a pretty easy delivery. I got an epidural, which was so great until it was time to have the baby, and then it proved to not be so helpful….
He was beautiful! He came in at 7 lbs, 6 oz, 21 inches tall, and was born at 8:59 p.m.
We were expecting a much larger baby as all my measurements up to that point reflected he was big. Needless to say, we were a little deceived by all the water retention and fluid. He was a tiny little guy and perfect. He came out wide eyed and looking at everything around him. He hardly cried, but loved looking around. He got a little fever in the hospital, and they were watching him for Jaundice, but he kicked both and is doing great. He’s been so fun to be around. His first week home, we were busy running around trying to make sure we had everything we needed for him.
I have to say that Brian has been wonderful! He’s taking care of me and helps out where he can with Titon. He’s a great dad! I’m looking forward to a week with him home and for my mom and sister Jacquelyn to come visit us. Welcome Titon to the Fuller household, we love you!
